Rustically beautiful: A Vietnamese countryside restaurant

Hi my foodies

I was on the way to Phong Nha cave when we stopped for lunch at this very interesting stilt house restaurant on the national route in Quang Binh province. In and out it looks more like a house than an eatery. I immediately grabbed my camera as soon as I let myself inside: every little detail had so much charm and history.

And the kitchen, oh you must love the kitchen. If you ever wonder how original Vietnamese kitchens looked like a century ago, they probably looked like this.

Time is perfectly frozen in this restaurant that you wouldn’t want to step too hard, to touch too much as if to avoid waking things up.
Food wise, we had an authentic and decent countryside meal.

If you happen to come across this restaurant or the likes anywhere in Vietnam, free the artist in you and remember to share your photos with us 🙂
