Grilled banana and tapioca in coconut milk – Chè chuối nướng
Chè chuối nướng is a great dessert for winter. Grilled bananas are cut into small slices, then placed into a warm mixture of coconut milk and tapioca pearls, along with chopped peanut topping. Everything blends perfectly together: the sweetness of banana, mildly sweetish and rich taste of coconut milk and peanut. The taste is just right, and not too sweet (I personally don’t like anything that is too sweet).
This shop is a street vendor with small wooden chairs on the pavement (typical Vietnamese style). Drop here for a few mins… a small bowl of chè chuối nướng can really warm up your winter nights.
