Recipe: Mustard Green Soup w/ beef - Canh dưa cải thịt bò

    • Season the beef with 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp minced shallot, 1/2 tsp stock powder, 2 tsp fish sauce, some pepper. Mix well and set aside for 15 mins.
    • In a saucepan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp vegetable oil, fry some minced garlic and shallot until fragrant, then add the beef and stir-fry the beef until it's no longer pink.
    • Add the tomatoes and the mustard greens. Stir-fry everything for about 2-3 mins, then add 1 liter of water and 1 tsp salt.
    • Turn the heat on high to bring to a boil. Have a taste and adjust with some fish sauce and chicken stock.
    • The beef is nicely tender and the mustard green is crunchy. The soup as a nice sour and sweet taste.
