A pretty trendy snack among the teens in Vietnam these days. It's a combination of sweetness wrapped inside a crunchy coat. How so? Let's dive right into the recipe!

  • Separate the 2 eggs and gather the yolks in a saucepan, saving the whites for later use. Add 3 tbsp sugar and beat well to partially dissolve the sugar
  • Add 3 tbsp corn starch and 400ml milk. Stir to dissolve completely and bring to the stove
  • While stirring constantly, bring it to a boil from about 7-10 minutes.
  • Grease a container and pour the custard into it. Place a piece of plastic wrap right on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Cut into 2-inch cubes. Crack 2 more eggs in the remaining egg white. Beat well.
  • Roll the custard cube over some flour.
  • Submerge in the egg mixture and then to the bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry till golden brown on all sides
  • It's best served with chilli sauce. Enjoy!
