Trà sữa trân châu - Bubble tea

  • To make sugar syrup, dissolve the sugar in water under medium low heat. Leave to cool.
  • Cook tapioca pearls in boiling water following package instructions. The normal type takes about 25 minutes. Take off the heat and cover the lid. Let sit for another 25 minutes. Drain the pearls and soak in the sugar syrup.
  • To make honey milk tea, place 2 tea bags in 1 cup boiling water for 5-7 minutes following the tea package instructions. Let cool or chilled. In a cocktail shaker, combine the brewed tea, condensed milk, honey and ice. Shake well. Add 1-2 tbsp tapioca pearls to the glass and pour in the shaked milk tea. Serve with a thick straw.
  • To make boba strawberry milkshake, in a blender, combine frozen strawberry, yoghourt, condensed milk, and fresh milk. Blend till smooth. In a serving glass. add some cooked tapioca pearls and pour in the strawberry milkshake. Serve with a thick straw.
