Al Fresco – newly opened Western restaurant in Danang

Video:

Da Nang just welcomed Al Fresco to its Western restaurant list. I visited Al Fresco several times in Ho Chi Minh city and liked it a lot. Needless to say I’m really glad that finally they decided to open an outlet in Da Nang.

The restaurant offers a mix of Tex-Mex, Italian, and Australian food with a wide variety of dishes, generous portions and promotions. One of its signature dishes is the stunning BBQ pork rib which I am a fan of. The ribs are grilled with the signature sauce of Al Fresco and are incredibly soft and juicy.

I also really like the pasta and steak I ordered. However, the pizza I had, which is the first pizza I’ve ever had at Al Fresco, felt undercooked. The crust was sticky and felt like it could use a few more minutes in the oven. As this is my first pizza experience ever at an Al Fresco and this is a newly opened restaurant, this hopefully was just a onetime error. I think I will come back next time for my final verdict on the pizzas here.

Also, currenly being offered at Al Fresco is a variety of lunch sets on a “buy one, get one free” basis. The lunch sets include an appetizer, a main dish and a desert all in generous servings. We ordered 4 lunch sets for 4 people  and only paid for 2. The promotion is said to continue until end of October so gather your friends!

All in all, Al Fresco is a great value for money Western restaurant in Da Nang.
